Nick charges a fixed agreed sum for all preparation, pre-mediation contact and an 8 hour* mediation day. Additional time over 8 hours is charged at an hourly rate. These charges are usually split equally between the parties.
There are no hidden charges, which means:

The following table illustrates typical rates charged for a full day mediation (8 Hours), held in person. Time spent over 8 hours is charged at an agreed hourly rate. All rates are subject to VAT
Value of dispute** and Rate
**Value of dispute is calculated by reference to the financial sum in dispute. Claims for non-monetary relief are charged at a minimum of £1,100 per party.

These mediations are typically half day mediations (4 hours), though further time can be agreed at the outset (possibly in a separate session), or an additional agreed hourly rate will be charged.
